Hannah and Nic tied the knot on August 9th 2022. Most people would have been going about their usual Tuesday business, but not these two. For them, it was the most extraordinary Tuesday, celebrating their love.

The morning was eventful for myself and my team. We arrived at The Falls Golf Course early and were met with two black bears, as we unloaded our cars and headed around the back building for setup access. I think the bears were just as shocked as we were! Nevertheless, we were definitely awake and aware of our surroundings, ready to get started on the day. The bridal flowers were delivered to the bridal suite the venue offers, while we lugged buckets of flowers and supplies down the path to the ceremony location. The wooden arbour provides couples with a rustic backdrop for the ceremony. We added a floral piece to the upper lefthand corner to frame the couple. Hannah wanted to mimic wildflowers from British Columbia, while maintaining a timeless and elegant look. We hand selected several flowers from our own garden beds while also sourcing local flowers that would give the more bridal look. Cosmos, cut from our garden beds, were the stars of the show, complimented by locally grown blush ranunculus.

The reception hall, located on the same premise, was calm and intimate. The walls and ceilings were draped with soft linens and garden lights, giving off a soft glow that bounced from wall to wall. We chose to have several bud vases displayed lengthwise on the tables, creating a ‘handpicked’ wildflower look. Hannah thrifted the majority of the vases used which were later given as party favours to guests who wanted to take some flowers home. Please enjoy the lovely photos from this day!
